Community

PPI is One BIG Community

PPI runs vibrant local chapters in 20+ Indian cities, building a growing in-person and online community of policy and social impact enthusiasts.

Through these chapters, we organise regular meet-ups across cities, workshops, and more! We’re helping decentralise the policy space beyond Delhi and foster local ecosystems of awareness and opportunity.

PPI's Whatsapp Community

Want access to like-minded individuals and organisations in the policy and social impact space? Look no further!

Our WhatsApp city chapters are rapidly expanding, with major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore now hosting multiple chapters due to high demand and the initial chapters reaching full capacity. Through our 30+ city chapters we have direct, instantaneous access to over 30,000 policy professionals in the community across these cities, with a 75% read rate.

Guess what? This isn't limited to your phone!

PPI partners with organisations such as universities, think tanks, corporates etc., to put together curated, in-person engagements such as meet-ups and workshops across India for them. This allows them to connect with an in-person community of young policy professionals, educate them on their industry/area of work and engage with a critical cohort of stakeholders. Be it conducting an outreach session for your educational program offerings, or conducting a focused group discussion for your next research report in any of India’s 20 largest cities – we’ve got you covered!

With our broad reach and diverse platform offerings, we utilise various media formats to engage the vast audience of policy-enthusiast Indian youth. Our focus is on guiding this audience through the opportunities within the public policy field while also helping partner organisations connect with them. We assist in raising awareness for brand initiatives, including events, launches, reports, admissions, and general marketing.

Testimonials

Hear what our community has to say about us!
In the US, there are several go-to platforms for such opportunities, one of the most well-known being Tom Manatos. So, when I first heard about Yash posting policy roles daily, ironically through my mum who was helping me search across different sources, I immediately thought: Yash is the Tom Manatos of India’s public policy space!

A close friend was looking for a job and leads in the North East specifically – I was able to quickly give leads on various kinds of opportunities and also the group gives me confidence that the North-Eastern sector is growing in terms of opportunities for the youth. I have been following PPI since last 2+ years and the open database is one of its kind that I have seen.

PPI has made the policy space more accessible and digestible to me. From someone feeling that people here are somehow superior, I found one community that pays attention to young people’s aspirations, be it posting opportunities or understanding their needs through meet-ups! PPI is one organization that is really cultured and well-ordinated.

I have been following PPI since last 2+ years and the open database is one of its kind that I have seen. I have used it to apply for jobs and then to post job and internship opportunities at my organisation as well. We were able to find some very interesting applications because of this and has been a great experience so far.
